Let your children experience the Magic of Santa without the crowds or lines! Plus, we honor the spirit of the upcoming season by giving back a portion of your booking fee to DuPage County's People's Resource Center. Our Santa’s Magic experience offers families a personalized, interactive visit with a real-bearded Santa and Mrs. Claus, creating a family memory that will last a lifetime.
They’re only true believers for such a short time; and we’ll capture all the wonder and excitement as your little Believers interact with Santa and Mrs. Claus in a private, relaxed setting with plenty of time to share stories, ask all the important questions, find out if they’re on the nice list and share their wishlist with Santa.
The entire visit will be professionally photographed while you sit back and watch your children’s imaginations run wild. Each visit will be customized to fit your family. Your children will be amazed when Santa magically “knows” things about them (names of pets, recent lost tooth) etc. Parents will have the option to join in and pose for a memorable family photo at the end of the session.
Sessions will last approximately 20 minutes; families with more than 3 Believers may want to book back to back sessions in order to ensure they have enough time with Santa. Please contact us before booking if your family has more than 3 younger children. Also, please note that Santa’s Magic sessions are designed for one family per session only. (cousins or besties may not share)
Within 10 days of your Santa’s Magic session, you’ll return to our studio for a reveal and order appointment. (required, but can be conducted over Zoom if necessary) At this time you’ll choose your favorite photos and finalize your order for albums, prints, Christmas cards and gifts you need so that we can have all of your products delivered to you in time for Christmas.
Our Santa and Mrs. Claus are an experienced real-life couple who have been bringing joy to La Grange and the Chicagoland area for years.
To make the Magic even more exciting, book before October 28th and your child will receive a customized, wax-sealed invitation for their visit, directly from the North Pole!
The booking fee includes a 3x3 metal ornament of your favorite image. (valued at $125) No digitals images are included with the booking fee, but for each print product purchased at your ordering appointment, you will receive a digital image sized for sharing on social media. Refer a friend, and if they book you'll each receive an 8x10 metal or mounted print with your order. ($225 value) Referral instructions are on the booking page.

For each booked session, Morna Freitas Photography is donating $25 to the People's Resource Center (PRC). The PRC mission is to respond to basic human needs, promote dignity and justice, and create a future of hope and opportunity for the residents of DuPage County, Illinois.
As a resident and close by neighbor of the PRC in Wheaton, Miguel and his family have been involved with the PRC since their three kids volunteered in the Food Pantry during their high school years. Miguel is also now a volunteer member of the PRC Development Committee and is thrilled to continue to support the PRC and its amazing work in the community. Where are you located?
Morna Freitas Photography’s studio is located at 540 W. Boughton Road, Suite B, in Bolingbrook, IL.
How do I book a session?
Simply click the BOOK & SCHEDULE A SESSION button, that will take you to our booking page, click on the dates of our Santa sessions to find an open time slot. The dates are November 4th and 5th. Fill in all of your family’s information correctly and before making payment acknowledge that you have read and understand all of the information on this page, including the FAQ. After payment of your booking fee:
-we’ll email you a questionnaire to help us customize your session
-you will schedule your reveal and order appointment which must happen no more than 10 days after your session-this step needs to be completed before your session
-we’ll send you our full product price list so you can plan ahead, if you would like to see the full price list before booking, fill our our contact form and we’ll send it to you
-if you book by October 27th, we’ll send your child a personalized, wax-sealed invitation from Santa for their special visit
What’s included in the session?
Your session includes a 20 minute private visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, plus a 3x3 metal ornament of your favorite photo from the session. Digital images are not included in the booking fee, but you will receive a free social media sharing file for each print product that you purchase. Wall Art and Gift Packages start at $300, Albums start at $695, and we also offer Christmas cards and a variety of options from ornaments to acrylic blocks to metal prints to image cubes. Social media files do not include a print release. Hi-res digital files with a print release must be purchased separately.
What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
Due to Santa’s busy schedule, our Santa’s Magic sessions are only available on limited days and we expect the sessions to fill up quickly. We will accommodate requests for changes if open time slots exist, but this is unlikely, so please choose your time slot carefully. Please note that $195 booking fee is non-refundable for any reason.
What if my child is sick?
If your child is sick, please contact us ASAP. Do not show up for your session with a sick child. Any child who is obviously sick will not be allowed to enter the studio. We reserve the right to check everyone’s temperatures upon arrival. In the event that your child is sick on the day of his session, it is unlikely that we will be able to reschedule. For a sick child, we will allow the booking fee to be applied towards a future Morna Freitas Photography session.
Can I take my own photos during the session?
Cell phones and tablets must be put away during the session. If the children notice you taking photos they will be distracted and look in your direction instead of looking at Santa or at the photographer’s camera. The entire session will be professionally photographed to create heirloom-quality portraits for your family and gift-giving. You will have the opportunity to view the images and order prints and products of your favorites within 10 days of your visit.
Can extended family come watch/participate in the session?
Sessions are designed for siblings and parents only. (Single parents may bring along one other adult to watch/assist.) The studio area and set is not large enough to handle big groups.
Can cousins/friends share a session?
No, but cousins may be able to book back to back sessions and take one group photo together between sessions, but please call BEFORE booking to discuss the number of children and verify that we can accommodate them.
Are there age limitations to Santa’s Magic sessions?
Sessions are designed for young children who are comfortable enough to interact with Santa, but we do have poses and tricks of the trade for babies and young toddlers. Older siblings who are “make-believers” are welcome to join in the fun with their siblings and pose for photos. Please consider your child’s age, nap schedule, disposition, etc, before booking a session.
